Three arrested for kidnapping and attack

Thiruvananthapuram: Police Pothencode here on Wednesday arrested three people on charges of kidnapping and efforts to kill a 60-year-old man.
The defendant was Santhosh, 40, from Ayirooppara, Wisnu, 36, and Sarath, 33, from Panthalakkode.
The police are looking for leaders of Shukkoor Gang and the fifth members who have not been identified.
The police said the incident was related to this case occurred on Tuesday at around 3:30 p.m.
Naseem, a resident of Pallinada, who is an employee of a tea shop allegedly borrowed a total of Rs 30,000 from Shukkoor.
The gang kidnapped him from his workplace under Shukkoor’s place when he failed to pay money.
They took him to the lonely plot and beat him badly after tying his hand.
They also hacked him on his shoulder.
After that the gang left Naseem hanging upside down on the frame well on the plot until the police appeared and saved him.
