Noida: Three men, who were suspected of being part of the interstate criminal gang that cut ATMs in Noida larger and rejected with RS 17 Lakh cash, had been arrested, police said on Monday.
Around Rs 2.50 lakh from cash has recovered from the three, police said, adding seven more achievements had not been arrested.
“The gang has opened ATMs from Punjab National Bank (PNB) in the Bilalaspur area under the boundary of the Danka Police Station.
ATM has a 17.45 lakh Rs in it which criminals are said with them,” said a police spokesman.
The defendant was identified and arrested in a joint operation by Danka police station and police station, said the spokesman.
“While the incident in Bilaspur took place on the night of the intervention on July 13-14, a similar case but did not succeed where the ATM was cut open by the gas was reported to the police with the 9-10 July night,” the official said.
In pursuing this case, three of the defendants were identified as Nasir, Imran and Shahid, arrested near the lower road close to Delayanatpur village on Monday, police said.
Rs 250 lakh of stolen cash, two-made states together with some ammunition were confiscated from them while their motorbikes were stolen too, they had been confiscated, police said.
The legal process further in this case is underway and efforts are being carried out to capture their escape partners who have been identified, added the police.
