Coimbatore: The Podhanur authorities on Monday reserved three guys for marrying little women during distinct period from the district.
In the first episode, Parameswaran, 19, a resident of Podhanur had wed a little woman on December 29, 2020.
According to a criticism received by Childline, the Madukkarai village administrative officer (VAO) had seen their home for a query.
Inquiries affirmed the accused had wed the little girl and had been alive together.
After sending the woman with her parents, then a complaint was enrolled in the channel.
In a different event, Vellalore VAO registered a complaint against V Vigneswaran, 20, a resident of Vellalore, for marrying a little woman on February 7.
The Madukkarai VAO registered a complaint against R Hariharanathan, 20, a resident of Kurichi for marrying a little woman on April 5.
Each of the complaints were obtained through Childline.
Authorities have booked a case under Section 9 of this Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, contrary to the trio.
