COIMBATORE: The city police on Saturday detained three men, who supposedly uttered 1,500 liquor bottles worth Rs 1.
50 lakh in the Tasmac store in Peelamedu.
Tasmac store 1570, close to the Coimbatore International Airport, has been shut on May 9 because of the lockdown, manager C Sugumaran informed authorities.
He visited the store on Friday afternoon and discovered a gap on the wall along with the bottles lost.
Police identified the detained people as A Vinoth Kumar, 21, of Singanallur, R Manojkumar, both 21 and P Jayaprakash, 22, of Kallimadai from town.
They recuperated 12 liquor bottles, Rs 31,000 and 2 bikes from them.
A special team was made to nab four people in relation to the situation, police sources said.
