Letter: Three young men were arrested on Saturday due to shooting from a gun at a jewelry shop in the city of Sarthana on November 11.
The police said that the trio – Mihir Dodiya (20), from Rajkot; Darshan Rathod (21), a resident of Kamrej and Jay Tejani (22), also from Rajkot; had planned to squeeze money from shop owners and shoot at the store last week as part of their plan.
The police have also recovered a pistol worth Rs 40,000 from the defendant.
On November 11, a young man with his face was closed had fired a bullet in Sukhram Jewelers located in Raizon Plaza in Sarthana.
Based on CCTV recording the police arrested Dodiya.
