Kalyan: Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) on Thursday destroyed three illegal buildings lacking construction in the Kalyan-Dombivli area.
The action was said to be part of the campaign against illegal construction by Commissioner of KDMC Dr.
Vijay Suryawanshi.
Recently, Suryawanshi met with all senior civilian art officials, police and other related departments where they decided to start taking action against illegal construction in the city.
The KDMC team, led by Deputy Commissioner of the City of Pallavi Bhagwat, destroyed a building of less three-story construction in the Gopal Nagar area in Dombivli (east) on Thursday.
The building was said by developer Jaydeep Tribhuvan.
A four-storey illegal building in the Ganesh Nagar area and a two-story building in the Adivali-Dokali area was also destroyed.
