Kesar: At least three residents of the SUV were injured when people took part in the Religious Religious Procession on the Rain of Hathis on a vehicle at the National Highway-31 near the Chowk Musapur under the Katathar district on Friday night.
A duo of sons and other family members returned from Purnia in the SUV when the incident occurred.
It was a nightmare experience for the occupants of the vehicle when the hordes boiled and hit the vehicle from all sides.
Three occupants of the injured vehicle were treated at the Public Health Center in Korha for care.
Katihar SP Vikas Kumar on Saturday said the two firs were filed in connection with the incident.
“Raids will arrest those involved in the attack.
Special orders are spent not to carry out religious procession in the district because of Covid-19.
It is being investigated how the procession is done,” SP added.

When our vehicle reached near the Chowk Musapur on the NH-31, it was attacked by those who participated in the procession.
The crime also took Rs 7,000 in cash and cellphones from my brother.
