SRINAGAR: Three terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JEM) were killed in a meeting with security forces in the district of Pulwama Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.
Security forces launched Cordon and search operations on reach over the Nagbaanan Tral Forest area in the South Kashmir District after input on the presence of terrorists here, officials said.
They said the search operation turned into a meeting after the terrorists shot at the search party for security forces, who replied.
“In the next shooting, three terrorists affiliated with Jem’s clothes were killed,” the official said.
Search operations are taking place, they said.
This is the second meeting in the district in a few days.
