Kalyan: Three residents of Kalyan-Dompivli worked in Mantalaya in Mumbai who included officers and two police personnel had been infected with Omicron variants.
The trio of people recently tested positive Covid-19 during their weekly tests carried out in Mantralaya.
The Ministry of Health has sent trios samples for genome sequencing and reports on Wednesday to find their omicron variants.
Dr.
Ashwini Patil, Kalyan-Dombivli Health Officer Municipal Corporation said, “Trio patients are recognized in the art gallery in Kalyan and they are asymptomatic patients without any symptoms”.
He further said, “We have done RT-PCR tests from all close contacts and distance from patients and the report they are waiting for”.
Previously two covid patients from Kalyan-Dombivli were found by Omicron variants including Dombivli men who had returned from South Africa and became the first omicron variants in the state and duo after treatment even exhausted.
The twin city even witnessed a daily increase in Covid-19 patients.
On Thursday the city of Twin reported 67 patients in one day.
