GUWAHATI: Three naturally-occurring earthquakes, such as one with a size of above 4, reach the populous countries within a gap of several hours early on Friday.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale hit Assam’s Tezpur in 2:04am according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) report.
Sonitpur district has been identified because the epicentre and the thickness was 22 kilometers.
A quake of 3 size hit Manipur in 1:06 am, although the epicentre was discovered as Chandel district, even in a thickness of 10 kilometers.
The next quake of 2.6 size was listed at the West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya in 4:20 am, in a thickness of 10 kilometers, according to the NCS report.
There was no record of any loss of property or life in both of the 3 locations.
