New Delhi: The police on Sunday arrested three people because of executing robbery of cash weapons worth Rs 8 lakh and gold ornaments at home property dealers at West Delhi Nagar after holding their families’ hostages, officials said.
Two of the defendants – Ankush (23) and beat (24) – were arrested after a short meeting near the Uttam Nagar bus terminal, they said.
When the police team tried to arrest them, the Duo opened fire which hit a bullet-bullet jacket from one of the police.
In retaliation, the police team returned the fire that hit Ankush, police said.
Based on their disclosure, which was accused of the third, Deepanshu aka Vashu (21), a corenterly conscious Bazar, was arrested.
He is an employee of the Vinod Lal property dealer, whose house they run armed robbery, said a senior police officer.
“Deepanshu was arrested later to provide information to people accused of the availability of cash and jewelry at home Lal,” he said.
The incident that took place on July 7 at around 1:30 a.m.

Four gunmen posed as an electrician entered Lal’s house in his absence.
Everyone brought their weapons and faces covered with masks to hide their identity.
While one of them wore a helmet, the other wore a hat.
They held family hostages and fled with cash 8 lakh rs and gold ornaments, said a senior police officer.
