Letter: The police arrested three people for allegedly forging documents and used it to change the name of a woman on aadhaar card on Wednesday.
Police arrested Ajay Gaud, Pankaj Maurya and Santosh Maurya, all the residents of Pandesara, for allegedly making fake documents and using it as real.
The complaint was submitted by a police officer at the police station on Tuesday.
GAUD is a husband’s husband whose name is changed in Aadhaar’s record using fake documents.
GAUD wants to change his name Tabassum Khatun when he thinks that his Muslim identity can create obstacles in getting the benefits of the government scheme for pregnant women.
The police investigation revealed that GAUD, a laborer, previously worked in Mumbai when he developed online friendship with Tabassum West Bengal.
They then met in Kolkata and planned to get married.
They married in a temple and began to live together.
Then, Gaud shifted to the city with Tabassum and the couple began living in the Pandesara area.
“Meanwhile it was pregnant and Gaud felt that he might face difficulties in getting the benefits of a government scheme for pregnant women because of his wife’s Muslim name.
For changes in names and religions he was asked to follow detailed procedures that would take several months,” said an officer Police at the police station there.
“To bypass all the procedures he planned to get his name turned to Rani on the Aadhaar card.
He contacted the Pankaj who agreed to do this for Rs 1,100,” the police said.
Then the PANKAJ approached Santosh, who falsified the Tabassum identity document.
Then, they used fake documents to apply for names at the Aadhaar Card Center in Adjan.
This problem occurred at the police notice which then filed a complaint against the defendant.
