Three Navy personnel were killed in explosions on the warship in Mumbai Dockyard

New Delhi: Three naval personnel have lost their lives in the explosion on the Ranvir warship on the courtyard of the Navy in Mumbai.

The explosion occurred in the internal compartment on the ship.
Responding to immediately, the ship’s crew brought the situation under control, preventing the damage to the main material, the navy said.
Ins Ranvir is on the operational deployment of across the coast of the East Navy command and will soon return to the port.
The investigation board has been ordered to investigate the cause, naval officials said.
This is not the first accident involving naval ships in Mumbai.
In August 2013, the Sindhurakshak submarine sank after the explosion caused by fire when it was docked in Mumbai.
18 sailors died in the accident.
