Surat: Three persons of a household from Ankleshwar perished in a grisly car crash on federal highway 48 at Valsad on Sunday night.The automobile’s owner Altaf Kachwala, his spouse Rafat, two kids and his sister Tasneem Merchant along with her two brothers and Kachwala’s buddy Yogesh Patel and his household had gone into Daman during the weekend at two different cars.
While coming from Daman, Kachwala lost control of the vehicle near Gundlav around NH-48 while overtaking a truck and bumped right into a pole.
Police stated that while on the vehicle, Kachwala altered lane in a top speed but because he lost control on the SUV, he rammed to the truck then jumped divider and crashed into a pole.
The car had been totally mangled but Patel along with many others on the street helped bring out the passengers and called the ambulance.
Before the ambulance came, Rafat, eight-year-old daughter Mannat along with Merchant’s daughter Khushi (10) succumbed.
Other passengers were taken into Valsad Civil Hospital and Kasturba Hospital for therapy.
