Coimbatore: Their duo and their hands were arrested on Thursday because they killed a man and burned the body at the stone mine near Veerapandi in Tirupur City on Saturday (July 17).
The 46-year-old investigation officer said Murugeswari 46 years old, from Thiruvalluvar Nagar in Veerapandi, in a forbidden affair with a 36-year-old Santhoshkumar, who lent him Rs 70,000 a few months ago.
“When he demanded that number back, he refused to reply.
The woman hits the conspiracy with his son Arockiyadass and his friend Balasubramanian, both of them were 21 years old, to finish Santhoshkumar,” the officer said.
July 17, he said, the two men attacked Santhoshkumar with the iron stem, dragging him to the stone mine in the Kallanda and Ablae Ablue.
On July 18, the wife of Santhoshkumar filed a complaint to the Veerapandi police, which registered a case of missing people and investigations starting.
“We found that he was killed by Arockiyadass and Balasubramanian, who had claimed to commit crimes when we took it to be questioned,” the officer said.
Hashred’s body recovered from stone mine on Thursday and postmortem was carried out in place.
The police have registered the first information report against the trio below 302 (punishment for murder), 201 (causing loss of violations) and 120B (criminal conspiracy punishment) from the Indian criminal code and capturing them.
They were put forward in prison under Yudicial resistance later on.
