Ara: Three police personnel were injured in clashes with members of the Puja Chhath Committee in Aijara Village under the same police station in the Bhojpur district on Friday.
The incident occurred when members of the Puja Committee insisted on taking the procession before immersing idols in a local pool.
The police opposed it in the field so that no previous permission was searched for by them for it.
The police submitted a quarter against 20 named and 25 unknown people and arrested Om Praksh Choudhary and Mithilesh Choudhary from Aayar Village in this relationship.
Then, the villagers of Gheroo, the Aijar police station demanded direct releases of the person arrested.
They accused left-handed by the police and local police.
“The villagers conducted a Puja Chhath in the local pool which was located right behind the Aayar police station.

“When the police tried to reason with the agitators, they changed with violence and attacked the police with ‘Dandas’ where one Jamadar and two policemen suffered a minor injury,” he added.
