Ranchi: Ranchi’s government on Monday ordered a suspension of offline classes in Marwari +2 High School in which three class IX students had tested positive Covid-19.
Administration ordered a class suspension at night after the reopening of the school on Monday after a weekend getaway.
The students have been tested positively on Fridays and schools remain silent on Saturdays for sanitation.
The Institute has also organized the celebration of independence day online.
The principal was responsible for school, Ashish Kumar, said, “We have received orders from higher authorities to suspend all offline classes for a week at our school.” Three students, who were found positively during random testing of school staff and students, were sent to the district hospital.
Monica Mandal, a school teacher, said that after the detection of Covid cases, the attendance in the school had dropped significantly on Monday.
He also shows that because the ongoing acceptance process for class XI, the campus is crowded with students and parents.
“It also causes fear between us,” he said.
Speaking of this problem, Deputy Commissioner Chavi Ranjan said, “We will conduct intensive screening and testing drives in all schools where positive cases are found.
