Three Rajkot families were swept away at Rishikesh

Rajkot: Three family members from Rajkot City were swept away in the waters of the Gusta River which emanated in Rishikesh on Monday night.
While the body of a woman named Tarulata Kariya was found, his son-in-law Anil Gosai and his 18-year-old grandchildren were still missing.
Tarulata’s husband Dilip Kariya, who lived on Jalan Jamnagar, told Tii from Rishikesh that the family included him, Tarulata, their daughter Meera Gosai, son-in-law Anil Gosai and their son Sonal and Lakhan went to the pilgrims to do religious ceremonies.
On Monday around 6pm, after praying at a temple, Sonal stood on the face of the face in Ganga in Ghat to record the video on his cellphone.
A few minutes later, he slipped and was swept away.
To save Sonal, Antil and Tarulata entered the river, but they were also dragged in circling waters.
After the incident, Dilip contacted BJP leaders returned to Rajkot related to the district administration and the police.
“Disaster management teams and fire department can find my wife’s body, but my daughter-in-law and grandchildren are still missing,” said being shipped, who worked with the Institute of Public Administration Sardar Patel in Ahmedabad.
Rescuers did not succeed in looking for them in stretching rivers between Rishikesh and Haridwar on Tuesday.
They will continue searching on the river outside Haridwar on Wednesday morning.
It was the second marriage for dilip and Tarulata, police said, added that Tarulata wanted to do the ceremony for her late husband, so the family had planned a trip.
