Three Reserved for felling trees

Udhagamandalam: A case was filed against two individuals for illegally felling of trees in Kilkotagiri from the area.
Exotic trees (naval) developed for colour in a property in Kengarai panchayat at Kilkotagiri were felled with consent, as per a media release.
A case was filed against the person who owns the property, S GowriS also S Stephen.
An enquiry is now underway.
In another instance, a heap of wooden logs has been discovered being hauled without consent near Iduhatti from the Kattabettu scope on Thursday.
Additional analysis demonstrated that the logs have been out of a property in Morigal.
The trees had been felled without consent.
