Three shops put out the fire at Kumarapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Three stores in Kumarapuram were fully destroyed in a fire outbreak that occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
Losses around RS 20 Lakh are estimated in accidents.
According to fire service personnel and rescue, the fire outbreak was reported around 3pm.
A luxury shop called the KV collection owned by Stephen George, a medical store called Aswas Medicals owned by Rajeev and the barber shop owned by Rameshan is the shops destroyed.
The shops are located near AJ Hall in Kumarapuram.
As soon as they received a call, four units of the fire team, three of the Chackai Fire Station, and one from the Techauvananthapuram station, immediately sent to the place.
They managed to put out the fire around 4pm.
Chackai Fire Station Officer K N Shaji, who led the operation, said that the fire was thought to have started in a luxury shop.
They have additional stock in stores in connection with Christmas sales.
Most of the shares are electrical materials such as decorative lights.
However, the actual cause of the API can only be assessed after an expert by an electric inspectorate, the officer said.
