Mumbai: Three Transgenders are feared to sink on the Tansya River in Virar (East) on Thursday morning.
They were part of a group of six who came to the river to take a shower after doing the Ritual of Amasascaya on Wednesday.
The Viran Viran Corporation Corporation Fire Brigade, together with Mandvi police, has searched the victims identified as Prachi (23), Sunita (40) and Arika (40).
The six Transgender has carried out the ritual of Amasascaya in their home on Wednesday night.
They landed on the river to take a shower at Wee Thursday.
They all step into the water but were arrested unconsciously when the surface of the water began to rise.
While three of them managed to hold each other and out of the water, the other three were washed away with strong water flows.
The problem was revealed in the morning and the locals told the police around 11am.
