Mysuru: The government has chosen three local urban agencies (ULB) in Chamarajanagar District under Nirmala Nagara Yojana.
According to him, ULB from Kollegal, Hanur and Chamarajanagar will get funds for beauty and solid waste management (SWM).
Each ULB will get Rs 1 Crore according to the announcement made by the Head of the Bakavaraj Bommai Minister during the celebration of independence day.
Under the scheme, the government has chosen more than 75 cities that have reached under 25% of Pogress in the SWM, disposal, processing and recycling.
In accordance with the City Administration Directorate, Chamarjanagar has made progress of 9.69% in these fields, the collely of 15.24% and Hanur TP 17.5%.
Dealing with waste such as city solid waste from the following types has become the biggest challenge for ULBS: Garbage produced from households, offices, hotels, stores, schools and other institutions such as waste food, paper, plastic, fabrics, metal and glass, demolition / debris construction, including dangerous waste such as electric lights, batteries, Automotive parts and drugs and chemicals discharged.
