Mumbai: Police Santacruz arrested three people – owners of the hall and organizers – for allegedly held a Navratri dance event at a college in the city of Sunday night.
The police allow guests to leave with a warning, but the committee was arrested, and then released with a guarantee.
The police said they were doing the task of patrolling at night when they saw a parked car near the Sndt College.
“When we went into the College to ask, we found the Garba party ongoing at the College Hall.
More than 100 people dancing, and they are all without masks, breaking Covid norms,” police said.
The owner of the Hall, Gaurav Pokharlal, and organizers, Manish Bafna and Vikas Mehta, were ordered under the relevant parts of the Indian criminal code and Covid regulations.
