Kottayam: Three women were killed and four others were injured when their car traveled to the canal in the city of Adoor in the Pathanamthitta district on Wednesday afternoon.
Three who lost their lives in a strange accident were identified as Sreeja, 51, Shakunthala, 53 and Indira, 60 – all native to the Ayoor in Kollam.
All those killed are relatives.
Those who were injured were Sharah, 35, Aswathy Krishna, 27, both Ilalamad Natives, Bindu, 36, who were Princess Shakunthala who was killed in an accident and Alan, 14, Bindu’s son.
The four have been received at public hospitals, Adoor.
