Bokaro: Three workers died and three injuries when the elevator where they worked fell on the ground from a height of 29 meters in Electrosteel Plant (ESL) in Bokaro on Monday night.
The victims were workers from private companies allocated work replacement work by the company, officials said on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Bokaro Kuldeep Chaudhary said that they had held a meeting of company officials.
“After meeting the ESL CEO, we will decide on further action.” ESL management has convinced compensation to the deceased relatives.
The bodies were received by family members on Tuesday.
The Bokaro zone factory inspector, Dhirender Singh Mundender began his investigation on Tuesday morning.
The elevator where the incident occurred was not operating over the past four years.
Workers are sent by private agents who roam to replace the elevator.
“The six workers reported in ESL on September 25.
They provided two-day safety training,” said Munda.
“The workers began working on Tuesday, but on Monday they went to the site to see the elevator before starting work.
Three workers climb the stairs and reach the top of the elevator.
When they stand in the elevator, somehow it falls to the ground.
They died when they were On the way to the hospital.
Other workers who stood on the ground suffered a minor injury, “Munda added.
Mohammad Mahfuz Alam, one of the workers who witnessed the incident, said, “When the deceased reached the peak of the elevator, the corner went bankrupt and the rope slipped.

We were wearing a Safety Persneling.” The deceased was identified as MD Sultan Bihar, Shahnawaj Alam and Mohammad Osama from Ranchi.
