BHARUCH: Perhaps the first of its type of achievement, Manavrajsinh Rajendrasinh Chudasama aged 13 years won a gold, silver and bronze medal in various categories of Gujarat Gujarat 2021 State shooting championship.
The meeting was held at Spoting Sports Crowne Academy, Vad, Gandhinagar.
Bharuch Shooter is finished on the podium on the double trap team from the junior men’s category.
Manavrajsinh also won a silver medal in a double trap of individual events from the junior men’s category.
He then left his mark by securing a third finish in a double trap of individual events from the category of senior men.
With its sterling show, Manavrajsinh, Bharuch’s supervisor’s son of Police Rajendrasinh Chudasama, has made cuts for all Indian Shooting competitions G V Mavlankar is scheduled to be held in Patiala in October this year.
Manavrajsinh has been eligible for a double event and a single trap.
At 12 years and 9 months, he was the youngest among 150 shooters who were competing to the top award in the State Championship.
The passion for shooting takes place in the family as Manavrajsinh, Vandana is also a national level shooter.
Vandana – who has won more than 15 medals at the district level, state, and western zone – will represent Gujarat in the National Shooting Championship which will be held in New Delhi.
He will participate in traps, double trap events.
In 2019 he also participated in a single and double trap event from the national shooting championship.
Vandana reached the ‘famous shooter’ badge by reaching MQS (minimum qualifying score) set by the NRAI (National Rifle Association of India).
