AHMEDABAD: heavy rain and also high-velocity winds in Ahmedabad overdue on Wednesday caused chaos in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport.

An Adani Airports spokesperson stated,”The winds have been gusty that it directed to aircraft moving and drifting from the parking spots.
On Wednesday (June 16, 2021) approximately 9pm, climate conditions in Ahmedabad airport abruptly deteriorated, leading to powerful winds for one or two minutes.
This powerful end resulted in parked aircraft drifting away from their ranks along with colliding with ground gear (step ladders) close to the aircraft carrier.
