Mumbai: In the midst of rainfall, the tide was witnessed in the sea travel area in Mumbai on Thursday.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) states that the city and suburbs may witness moderate rainfall to severe.
Heavy rainfall spells are expected in some isolated places.
Some parts of Mumbai were flooded on Thursday morning when heavy rains continued to spend the night in the city.
With this, Railways stops Mumbai’s local train services between Ummermal and Kasara.
Head of Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Central Railway told that because of urination on track due to heavy rains, the local train service Mumbai between Umbermal and Kasara train stations was stopped.
It stated that train services between Igatpuria and Khardi were temporarily stopped because of the water.
The previous IMD placed Mumbai on the “yellow warning” after which expected very intense rain in Mumbai District, Palghar, Thane and Raigar on Wednesday.
