Tiger Electrocution Case in Gondia, Chanda Recrest, 7 Arrested

Nagpur: The forestry department has solved cases of tiger hunting in Arjuni Morgaon, Gondia, and Bhadravati, Chandrapur, arrested seven defendants.
Six defendants were held in the case of a gondia and a farmer was arrested in the case of Bhadravati.
Officials confiscated the tiger body parts removed after the animal was reduced in Arjuni Morgaon.
The ax used in crime has also been confiscated.
The accusation of the Arjuni Morgaon case has been identified as Dhanraj Chachane, Gyaneshwar Waghade, Sharad Malkam, Vikas Neware, Sikhrame Vilas and Dhanpal Kambu.
All accused of being a habitual hunter and claiming to kill wild boar and forest cats for Bushmeat.
On January 13, an adult tiger was found dead in Ramghat rhythm in the 254b number compartment.
The tiger was stung and his canines, mustache and teeth were removed by the defendant.
They also tried to cut one of the beast claws.
Acting on a tip-off, forest officials accused five accused on January 17.
All returned to forest detention (FCR) until January 21.
On Friday, the defendant was produced in front of a local court in Arjuni Morgon.
Four sent to custody (MCR) and FCR two were accused extended until January 24.
Some were accused of being agricultural owners and others worked as farm laborers.
On the night of January 11, said forest officials, defendants Chembhane and Waghade had bought illegally from electrical meters installed on Ulhas Galegone’s agriculture.
The duo put a lived electric wire of 1.5 km-long on the farm and spread to the forest side by side to kill wild animals.
Tiger found a living wire and died.
Assistant forest conservator RR Sadgir said when the defendant found a dead tiger in a trap, they took off the body around 5am and hid the ax on their farm.
“Active live wire starts at 19:00 to 5 in the morning and it can be proven fatal for humans too,” he added.
The head of the Nagpur Forest Conservator (CCF) P Kalyan Kumar said it was a “complicated case” and was resolved by collecting evidence in bits and pieces through their intelligence network.
“The police also supported us.
We also registered a case against agricultural owners to conspire by killing tigers,” Kumar added.
Hunters have become “innovative”, said CCF.
“Instead of putting a live cable through an 11kv line, a private farm connection is used to seize animals so the line does not stumble.
We do not stop here, and identify regular featherweight eaters in the area,” Kumar said.
Meanwhile, Chandrapur forest officials solved the electrocution case Tiger Bhadravati by arresting a friend of farmers in the conda.
Tigress Tigah was killed on agriculture Mate on January 3 farmers claimed that he regularly put the cable directly from the 11kV line to get rid of herbivores.
