Mangaluru: Piliculous Biological Park loses Royal Bengal Tiger, Oliver, who is a star attraction, after he suddenly fainted on Monday.
The Director of Taman H Hhandar said the tiger woke up as usual, but suddenly fainted.
“Veterinarians in the garden hurried to save him.
It’s a pity that he died,” he added.
Oliver was born in the park to Vikram, who died in October 2020, and Shambhavi, sent to a zoo letter under an animal exchange program.
This park has 12 tigers.
“All sections of Tiger have been sent to the Institute of Animal Health and Biological Animals in Bengaluru and Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Uttar Pradesh, to be examined, and to ensure the cause of death.
Samples have also been sent to the National Institute of High Security Animal Disease (Nishad), Bhopal, to test Covid-19.
After death, the entire park has been disanitized, “he said.
“The cause of death will be ascertained only after we receive a laboratory report.
He is healthy and weighs around 175kg.
Visitors in the park first saw him walking.
Allegedly a heart attack was thought to be the cause of death,” shoulder added.
