Chandrapur: The Forestry Team from the Central Chanda division on Monday night grabbed the tiger skin from Gondpipri Village and arrested six people involved in trade in wildlife.
Forest officials suspect that tigers are likely to be hunted at Gadchiroli.
The source said the officials received a tip-off of two people in Gadchiroli which had the tiger skin they had.
Acting on this information, they set traps by approaching wildlife traders as bait customers.
It took almost a month to lure the charges to come out with tiger skin.
“Finally, the agreement was installed to buy tiger skin and other body parts for Rs 60 lakh.
In accordance with the agreement, five people came on a bicycle to GondPipi with tiger skin and other parts of the body on Monday night.

Forest officials have mobilized the team to look for accused of Bhamragarh, who allegedly involved in hunting.
Sources do not rule out more accused possibilities involved in hunting.
