Chennai: 16-year-old tiger died at Park Zoology Anna Zoology (AAZP) in Vandalur on the outskirts of Chennai on Tuesday.
Tiger, named Bhishma, died of age-related diseases.
It hasn’t stayed good for the past three months, said a Senior AAZP official.
The official added that the tiger had been tested negatively for the Covid-19 virus and Canine Distemper (CDV).
Last month, 11 lions at the zoo were tested positively for Covid-19 and two of them died.
