CHANDRAPUR: A tigress is going round in Warora along with Bhadrawati include a cable snare coiled around your own neck.
Foresters suspect the poachers had put the trap for herbivores.
The tigress could have been captured inside but was able to break loose.
Resources said the tigress was initially recorded at the camera snare in Salori woods a couple of days back.
The camera snare picture has been regained following two or three days.
A previous image gave a belief that a red strip has been round the tigress’s neck.
Another image revealed a cable trap.
Instantly foresters at Warora and Bhadrawati array were alerted and a procedure was started to follow the tigress.
An official consent was sought in the PCCF wildlife to save the tigress.
“The tigress is always on the move also is changing involving Warora along with Bhadrawati ranges.
We’ve additional camera traps in the region to track its motion,” CCF NR Praveen told TOI.
He maintained the tigress was immediately sighted from the monitoring team on Sunday.
“Nearby foresters are attempting to find the tigress and after its place has been finalized, RRT staff is going to be set up in the region to save the tigress and eliminate the trap,” said CCF Praveen.
