‘Time Problems’: Sii Poonawalla Confident to Get EU Green Pass for Covishield

New Delhi: Serum Institute of India (SII) CEO Adar Poonawalla on Wednesday said that Europe’s approval for the covishield vaccine produced locally is “only time problems” and expected in about a month.
The European Medicine Agency (EMA) has not yet cleared the inclusion of Covishield in the European Union (EU) Covid Vaccination.
Until approved, anyone who has been fully vaccinated with Covishield will not be able to travel to Europe during a pandemic.
