Timing curfew relax in diamond city

Letter: City police have announced relaxation in curfew timings for Ganesh Festival.
From Friday night will start at 12 midnight.
Police also allows pandal Ganesh to remain open until 11 pm for Darshan.
“Because of the pandemic, Ganesh Festival to be celebrated in accordance with the guidelines Covid-19.
The curfew will begin after 12 midnight and worshipers can take Darshan to 11 pm,” said Ajay Tomar, City Police Commissioner.
Various restrictions that must be followed by the organizers including pandal size no larger than 10 feet by 10 feet and a height ganesh height less than 4 feet.
Organizers also asked to maintain social distance in pandal and give pembenih to the pembacat.
Also, wearing masks have been made mandatory.
For dyeing, only 15 people are allowed in a single vehicle.
Those who install Ganesha Idol at home are advised to perform immersion at their residence.
“We must strictly follow the guidelines Covid-19.
We’ve got permission to celebrate the festival and we have to follow all the rules,” President Surat Shaher Ganesh Utsav Samiti, said Swami Ambrishanandji.
