Tinnu Anand enjoys working with Kriti

Seventy five-year-old veteran actor Tinnu Anand has been shooting commercials and doing voiceovers during the pandemic, but has avoided shooting for films.
He recently shot a commercial with actress Kriti Sanon in which he plays her grandfather.
Tinnu says, “It is easier to shoot ads as they are shot in a controlled environment and there are limited members on sets.
I have been working during the lockdown too, as I do a lot of voice-overs so I have been going to recording studios.”

Like most of us, there have been several tragedies in Tinnu Anand’s family too where members have passed away due to Covid-19.
He says, “We’ve faced a lot of tragedies in the family, my wife Shahnaz’s elder sister passed away and her husband lost three more members, all of them in Pune, so we have been going up and down, too.”
Considering the threat of the pandemic still looms large, the actor reveals he’ll only consider going back to a film set that follows protocols.
He says, “I will go back on sets which offer complete protection.
I have an offer to shoot a film and the plan is to shoot in Banaras probably in July.”

But he adds, “It depends on the situation and I am not saying no to anyone but, I would definitely want to know who all are going, how many people would be on the set.
You see one has to careful at my age.
Life goes on, the only thing is you should not shut your eyes.”
Tinnu Anand has about 177 films to his credit as an actor and he’s directed 10 feature films, too.
He quit direction after ‘Major Saab’ and ‘Ek Hindustani’ and is now focusing on his career in acting.
