Tirupur: Fifteen students Sainik School Amaravathinagar in Udumalpet here has been tested positively for Covid-19.
The sources of the Public Health Department said that two male students of class XII complained of last Thursday’s fever.
Both were tested positive the next day.
Officials took 115 sample swabs of students and faculty members on the same day, where 13 students turned out to be positive.
Class XII has been suspended for two weeks.
The school, run by the Ministry of Defense, was founded in 1962.
