Coimbatore: Tirupur collector K Vijayakarthikeyan on Saturday chaired an interdepartmental interview officials in his office to get ready for the southwest monsoon and requested them to take immediate measures to install 24×7 control chambers, which may be achieved at 1077, in the offices of tahsildars and earnings divisional officers before June 1. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a regular southwest monsoon season, beginning next month.
