Tirupur to immediately get an integrated sports stadium

Coimbatore: The integrated sports stadium from international standards is likely to appear at the Chiksha Government Arts College in the Tirupur district.
The reception reporter in Tirupur on Saturday, the Minister of Youth Welfare Development Siva V Meyyanathan said work at the Spread Stadium at 11.2 Acre will begin at 45 days.
In the first phase, the synthetic path will be placed at a cost of RS 9 Crore and then Hockey, soccer field and volleyball will be established, the Minister said.
“The Chair of the Constitutional Court of the Constitutional Court Stalin will put the stone foundation for the stadium immediately.” Meyyyanathan, who also holds the environmental portfolio and the Minister of Climate Change, also leads the meeting with the District Administration and officials of the Tamil Nadu pollution notice (TNPCB) to review pollution control measures in the district.
He said TNPCB would get a new office in Tirupur North and South Tirupur at a cost of Rs 3 Crore and Rs 2.08 Crore, respectively.
“Pollution in the Noyyal River and the Parambikulam-Aliyar Project Channel will be prevented and the steps will be taken to clean and renovate contaminated waterbodies in the district,” he said.
Achieving that day, the minister has inaugurated the children’s parks set up at a cost of Rs 10 lakh on ondipudur in Coimbatore.
