TM CM Celebrates Diwali with Narikuravas

Chennai: Chairman of the Minister of Tamil Nadu M St Stalin on Thursday reached out to Narikuravas from Pooncheri Village in Mamallapuram with a bundle of welfare steps worth RS 4.53 Crore as a Diwali prize.
“Ashwini is not denied food, but respect.
This is an opportunity for the government to recover it,” Stalin tweeted, considering a recent incident when Ashwini from the village and members of the community was denied food during Annadhanam at the Temple of HR & CE.
Ashwini shot to the center of attention when he aired his complaint and the alleged discrimination was recorded and widely circulated.
It caught the attention of the Minister of HR & CE P K Sekar Babu, who sat with him for Annadhanam in a temple at Mamallapuram on Friday.
CM tweeted that the core ideology of the Dravidian movement is to protect each person from the marginalized part of the community to ensure social justice.
There is a long way to get rid of social crime (caste and class divisions) that have taken root in society for thousands of years.
CM Distributed House Pattas worth RS 3.52 Crore to 81 people during the program held in the village.
He also provided a community certificate (ST) to 88 people (ST), Narikuravas membership cards and membership compressing and loans to beneficiaries.
Thanking CM for overcoming their old demands delayed, Ashwini and neighbors in the village invited CM to their homes.
Accepting their invitation, CM visited their homes and interacted with their family members.
Beneficiaries also take selfies with cm to appreciate the moment.
Then, CM received a petition from the community.
Stalin took a selfie with a woman NarikuraVa cm also pulled out orders to take development work with Rs 75 lakh tones under the urban development scheme of Kaaignar.
He instructed officials to build Angganwadi and additional classrooms in the Panchayat Union elementary school.
Construction Angganwadi and additional classrooms will be taken based on the company’s social responsibility program with the financial assistance of Rs 10 Lakh from Madras Atom Power Station (map) to facilitate the children of NarikuraVA to continue their studies.
Narikuravas expressed his gratitude to the government to address their old demands and help them with financial assistance to improve their livelihoods.
CM has also convinced Narikurva and Irula Community that the government will take all the necessary steps to improve their social and economic conditions.
Government machines swing into action and installing water tanks and street lights ahead of CM visits.
“Five street lights and water tanks are installed on Wednesday.
We have to look for water and walk in darkness again.
There is no more frantic about staying here,” said Keitthiga, one of the beneficiaries and Ashwini sister.
