TMC moved disgusted insults in SC against Tripura officials

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress on Thursday moved the insults of the court at the Supreme Court against the Secretary of the Tripura, DGP and Superintendents of the police for failing to provide security to party workers who campaigned for the corporate election of the Municipal Agartala, scheduled for November 25.
The APEX court has been on November 11, asked the Tripura Government to ensure that Trinamool was not prevented to fight and campaigned for polls.
The party said despite orders SC, the workers were attacked and complaints to the police regarding the wall.
Trinamool and Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev, which has submitted an original request at the Supreme Court which leads to November 11, has cited examples of specific attacks on party workers – including two candidates for AMC polls – where the police complaints have not been leading to act .
On Thursday, Trinamool accused the AMC Ward 15 candidate Bikash Sarkar had been attacked and hospitalized.
At night, party leaders, including Dev, led Candlelight March on Agartala to protest recurrent attacks.
The petition said SC was in order to say “this is the limit obligation” from the Tripura government to ensure that “no political parties in the commotion are prevented to pursue their election rights in accordance with the law and from peaceful and orderly campaigns”.
SC has asked the Secretary of the State House, DGP and the police to “enforce and obey the command”.
Further petitions said after order SC, a BJP MLA had a public meeting on November 14 made a comment “no compassion to Trinamool” which led to a series of attacks on his workers.
The party said it on November 15 filed a complaint against MLA at the West Agartala Police Station.
The petition also said that on November 15, the Amc Ward Trinamool candidate, Panna Deb was attacked.
He filed a complaint of the police.
Deb, the petition said, appealed for personal security during the campaign but the police had not responded or even complaints.
On November 17, other candidates, Jaharaara Begum, was attacked during campaigning.
Complaints submitted.
On the same day, the petition said, Arinindam Party worker Sarkar was attacked while campaigning in Teliamura during the campaign hours permitted.
Instead of registering his complaint and providing medical assistance, the police detained Sarkar at the police station, the petition accused.
