Agartala / Kolkata: President of the Trinamool Youth Congress and Tollywood actor Saayoni Ghosh was arrested for allegations of murder attempts by the agartala on Sunday, the day after he posted a video on the twitter handle, where he was heard said “Khela Hobe” – the party’s rallic shout was popularized before the election Bengal Assembly – while passing a rally handled by Tripura CM Biplab Deb.
Coinciding with this development, the days before the polls of the Municipal Corporation Agartala November 25, where TMC fights with 51 wards, there are reports of violence against Trinamool workers, which are suspected by BJP men.
This encouraged the Trinamool delegation from parliamentarians to find an appointment with President of RAM Nath Kovind and Nion Ministers Union Amit Shah to increase the problem of recurring attacks on them in Tripura.
The Trinamool team left for Delhi on Sunday night.
There were reports of new violence against TMC workers near the East Agartala Women’s Police Station on Sunday night too.
According to a late report and video recording, an unknown striker hit the police station again, injuring a journalist and several others.
A separate attack was carried out on Trinamool Tripura State Convener Subal Bhowmik.
The recommended report Ghosh was taken away under security cover to a location that was not revealed by the police.
Development occurred on the day before the visit was scheduled for Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee to Delhi for a four-day tour.
Ghosh was arrested at 4 pm on Sunday after being questioned for three hours.
While he was questioned, at least seven Trinamool workers were injured in a sudden attack, allegedly by BJP cadres.
Some vehicles were also damaged.
The police were forced to lathicharge to disperse the attacker.
In the Ghosh clip tweeted, he was heard saying there was a “too little” of the people who attended the CM rally, in addition to throwing the slogan “Khela Hobe”.
Ghosh claimed that his vehicle was attacked as soon as this comment, but he was not hurt.
The BJP leaders accused the Ghosh car hit two people, who were injured.
