Kolkata: Trinamool Congress on Saturday who was nominated by Bureaucrat Jawhar Sircar as a candidate for Rajya Sabha who will come by elections in the state.
The election election commission on July 16 said that Bypoll to Rajya Sabha seats from West Bengal emptied by Dinesh Trivedi earlier this year will be held on August 9.
“We love to nominate Jawhar Sircar at the House of Parliament,” a party said the statement.
Sircar spends almost 42 years in public service and also former Prasar Bharati CEO, said the country in the country.
“His contribution to public services will help us serve our country even better,” he said.
Reacting to his nomination, Sircar said, “I am a bureaucrat.
I am not a political person but I will work for people’s development and increase problems regarding the masses in parliament,” he said.
Bypoll to the Sabha’s Rajya chair from the country will be held if the BJP opposition proves its candidate for the same thing, if not, the TMC candidate will be declared selected unstalled.
