Kolkata: Secretary General of Trinamool Congress Abhishek Banerjee will return to Tripura this weekend to officially start a party campaign in all 60 assembly chairs in the state.
Sushmita Dev, former MP Silchar, is likely to stand out in Tripura Blitz TMC in eight districts.
While Sushmita is expected to reach the agartala from Silchar on September 1, Abhishek is expected to reach two days later.
Along with senior leaders from Bengal, the leaders of TMC students and young people have camped in Tripura for several weeks preparing the runway for the 15-day Connect Mass program to be launched by Banerjee.
This, which is interesting, will also take sushmita to the homes of the Carmakar Dipa.
According to sources, Sushmita led in the TMC Tripura TMC plan.
Even though the party was formally not spared when he joined TMC after resigning from Congress on August 16, mostly felt that TMC had a larger role carved for him to form a barracks dominated by Bengali, which was adjacent to Tripura.
Sushmita’s father and former Union Minister Santosh Mohan Dev was chosen twice for Lok Sabha from Tripura and had become the Central Minister in the Government of PV Narasimha Rao as a member of the West Parliament of Tripura.
Interestingly, Mamata Banerjee, then a United speech minister, is the cabinet colleague.
Sources close to these developments, “Sushmita has launched a drive organization in Silchar.
He is mostly expected to do it in Tripura too.
He has a long relationship with the country.” Responding to the previous question on the faces of the party for Tripura assembly polls, Abhishek said will be local.
“It is very clear that Tripura BJP is a divided house.
This party faces internal opinion differences, which, coupled with anger towards the BIPLAB DEB government, has made BJP desperate.
Therefore a repeat threat and attack on workers and supporters of our party,” said source.
The party oversees interest when BJP reached dissatisfied mlaas led by Roy Burman’s Sudip.
The Legislator Agartala and former state opposition leader have been with TMC before turning to BJP.
Minister of Education Bratya Basu said BJP MLA in Tripura was also related to TMC.
“When Mamata Banerjee entered Tripura, there will be a tsunami.
BJP leaders are quite aware of this,” he said.
“Tripura under the BJP has been transformed into a frightened valley,” alleged basu.
Abhishek on Monday went to the SSKM hospital and spent time with the leader of the Subhankar Debnath student, who was injured in an attack on the day of the TMCP Foundation on Saturday.
Subhank was flown to Kolkata late that night.
