Cuddalore / Chennai: Two boys were destroyed to death and one of their classmates was injured when some of the collapse of the collapse building in Samathuvapuram in Cuddalore District.
The deceased is Kumar Sathish, 17 and D Veerasekar, 17, 12th grade students from Vellakarai Government Secondary School.
What was injured was T Bhuvanesh, 17, a 12th grade student.
Police said the three students from S Pathur reached Samathuvapuram in Vandikuuppam, Capper Hills, in the district on Thursday.
They played in a dilapidated building when some home collapsed to them.
The three boys were buried under the rubble.
People live near the area, heard loud sounds and screams, warn the police and fire brigades.
The fire service personnel team and rescue, which reaches the place with a giant engine, cleanses debris and saves the three students.
The team rushed to the Cuddalore Government General Hospital where the doctor was in charge of saying that Kumar and Veerasekar were taken dead.
Bhuvanesh suffered a severe injury on his head and underwent treatment at the hospital.
The building that collapsed was one of 130 housing units proposed by the Tamil Nadu government for Sri Lakan Tamils in Samathuvapuram.
Construction began in 2013.
But this project fell in the middle when Tamil Sri Lanka reportedly refused to switch to the area, on the grounds of several reasons.
The government then decided to continue construction and submit units to the scheduled tribe and transgender.
However, they also refused to shift, citing security issues and this project down in the middle and all 130 buildings were in a dilapidated state, pose a danger to the local community.

Meanwhile, Minister’s Head of M K Stalin, while condescending the death of the two boys, announced his respective RS2 Lakh’s solutions to the family of students who died and ₹ 50,000 to the injured family of the Minister’s assistance funds.
