CHENNAI: Three guys, who have been arrested in the Vysarpadi police station at Chennai on Saturday night, escaped later faking to fight together and later assaulting a sub-inspector who attempted to intervene.
Authorities said a special group, that was on a car test, discovered three guys drifting suspiciously.
After the police asked the reason behind drifting, the trio — recognized since Ajith Kumar, 24, Ajay Gupta, both 22 and also Jagadeswaran, 22 — gave different responses.
Interrogations together demonstrated that Ajith Kumar had 24 offense cases pending against him Kodungaiyur, MKB Nagar, Otteri along with Pulianthope channels while Ajay and Jagaedeswaran were confronting almost 20 instances each.
They had been included in murder and try to murder cases, according to authorities.
The trio were shot to Vysarpadi channel where they had been arrested in a lockup.
They weren’t handcuffed.
Even the trio pretended to get a struggle together.
A few of their relatives, that have been standing away from the police station, made a ruckus demanding the discharge of this trio.
The trio broke windowpanes and pretended to stab another.
Sub-inspector Anand opened the lockup to restrain them.
The trio stabbed at him escaped in the police station.
Anand suffered a slight injury.
The authorities have launched a search for them.
