TN: 544 students claim to be MBBS / BDS

Chennai: As many as 544 government school students, almost 70% of them were women, received at the MBBS / BDS course on Fridays below a 7.5% quota on Friday.
At the end of the day only three dental seats in the finance teeth college themselves remain not filled.
Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan handed over the receipt card to the first 10 students.
The selection committee has called 762 students for counseling where 739 students attended counseling and 198 of them.
Based on achievements in NEET and order rules, 318 MBBS seats in government universities, six seats in Esic College and 113 seats in college financing filled.
Thirteen students chose BDS seats in government colleges and 94 of them chose dental courses in self-financing college.
The state has ordered 544 undergraduate seats including 437 MBBS seats for government school students who have cleaned NEET.
Among the students who were allocated seats on Friday 39% of them had passed the board examination 2021.
MBBS / BDS Online counseling for students will begin on January 30.
