Chennai: Tamil Nadu School and students can travel for free on government buses from September 1.
Until the free bus trajectory is printed and distributed, students with uniforms can present their ID cards with photographs to the conductor of the bus, said Transport Minister Rajakannappan.
The same exception applies to the Iti and Polytechnic government.
