TN asks teachers to Visit Colleges on rotational basis

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu school instruction department has requested teachers to visit colleges on a foundation to assist headmasters in college admissions.

Observing the relaxations into Covid-19 lockdown, the college education department requested the headmasters to perform cleanup of college campuses and classrooms, issue certificates to the pupils to combine higher courses and perform admission-related work beginning Monday.
According to the instructions, the colleges began admissions to different classes such as Class XI at 27 districts.
The admissions at 11 districts, in which more rigorous lockdown is set up, will probably be conducted following the circumstances return.
In a round, college education commissioner K Nanthakumar requested the primary instructional officials to adhere to the exact guidelines issued for Class XI admissions to enroll students in different courses.
