TN assembly passed Bill to cancel NEET, BJP walked out

Chennai: In almost rounded movements, the Tamil Nadu Assembly on Monday issued a bill to enter medical courses only based on class XII signs in the council exam.
The bill also provides a 7.5% horizontal reservation in medical courses for government school students.
“Acceptance to the medical education course can be tracked to enter 25 from list III, schedule VII of the Constitution.
Therefore, the state government is competent to regulate the same.
So, I moved this bill,” said Minister M St Stalin, aroused the number of tables in the treasury.
This bill seeks to avoid neets and, instead, only has class XII as a criterion for receipt to MBBS, BDS, Indian medicine and homeopathy.
While opposition parties such as AIADMK and PMK, in addition to DMK allies, supporting the bill, BJP members walked out of the Assembly as a protest.
The high-level committee, which is headed by the AK Rajan justice, the former Madras High Court Judge, was founded by the DMK government in June, which was reported to the government that Neet had undermined a variety of representatives in MBBS and who preferred medical courses, supporting prosperous groups , when thwarting dreams of pursuing medical education by the less capable part of the tribe.
The committee said that Neet did not seem to ensure the services or standards of students offered by MBBS under its purview.
The Justice Rajan committee received a view of 86,342 people both offline and online and submitted their reports on July 14.
“The Committee has recommended that the state government passes actions, such as Tamil Nadu includes professional education institutional law, 2006 (Tamil Nadu Act 3 2007),” Stalin said.
Following recommendations, the state government founded the Secretary’s other committee led by the Head of Secretary V IRAI Anbu on July 15.
The Secretary Committee recommends the same route to cancel NEET.
The minister’s chairman said wrongly said that Neet improved medical examination standards.
Tamil Nadu has one of the highest number of medical and dental institutions even before 2017.
Medical and dental professional standards of these high institutions.
“The acceptance carried out based on qualification checks will not be far lowered educational standards, because the higher secondary syllabus is sufficient standard,” Stalin said.
If the sign is adjusted through the normalization method, it will provide a fair, fair and fair acceptance method, he said.
The government decided to enact the law to ensure social justice, uphold equality and opportunities, protect all vulnerable students, and ensure strong public health care in the state, especially in rural areas, Stalin said.
He remembered the legal battle by the DMK government and all political parties resulted in historical achievements to get 27% of reservations for OBC under medical quota for medical courses.
“I urge the legislators of all political parties to expand full cooperation in the problem of neet and support to create history in social justice,” said Minister of Chief.
In the afternoon, when the bill was taken for consideration and passion, the BJP floor leader Nainar Nagendran said it opposed the bill.
He said 57,219 of 99,610 students, who wrote Neet, cleared the test last year.
